How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO
The Fidough Fetch event, running from January 4th to January 8th, 2025, was the primary method for obtaining Fidough and Dachsbun. Fidough appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. Players could also find Fidough through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.
Alternatively, trading with other Trainers is a viable option. Pokémon GO communities, such as Reddit or Discord, are excellent resources for finding reliable trading partners.
Since Dachsbun doesn't appear in the wild, Trainers must either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Consider comparing the stats of multiple Fidough before evolving, as Dachsbun is a capable battler, useful in events, PvP leagues, and battles against NPCs.
Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Currently, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun are unavailable. While their standard forms debuted during the Dual Destiny season, shiny variants were not included. However, future events may introduce shiny versions, as Pokémon GO frequently adds shiny forms for existing Pokémon through special events. Until then, Trainers will have to wait and focus on other shiny hunting targets.
