Acquiring the Astral Feather from the Astral Swan is possible without the associated quest, but the quest provides additional lore. This quest is titled "Soaring Above the Starry Sky."
Soaring Above the Starry Sky Quest in Infinity Nikki
To begin the "Soaring Above the Starry Sky" quest, locate the Stellar Fishing Ground Peak Warp Spire and interact with Curious Pinny. The quest involves visiting Lensie's house (easily found using the in-game map tracker), then grooming the Astral Swan, equipping the Floral Gliding outfit, and flying with it.
Following the flight, complete these steps:
- Return to Pinny and Lensie.
- Travel to Stoneville and find Elron.
Grooming the Astral Swan in Infinity Nikki
Grooming the Astral Swan is straightforward; use the Bye-Bye Dust or a similar grooming Ability Outfit. This interaction also yields the Astral Feather material.
Equipping the Floral Gliding Outfit in Infinity Nikki
Next, equip the Floral Gliding Ability Outfit to initiate flight. For optimal results, change to this complete outfit set from your wardrobe.
Flying with the Astral Swan in Infinity Nikki
With the Floral Gliding Outfit equipped, activate it near the Astral Swan to trigger a cutscene. To successfully complete the flight, maintain proximity to the Swan and avoid drifting too far.
During the flight, a "Soar" button will appear; be sure to press it.
At the flight's conclusion, do not deactivate the Floral Gliding outfit until the Astral Swan has fully landed. Prematurely ending the flight prevents quest progression. A successful flight advances the quest to its next stage.
