I've realized I should give more attention to Marvel games beyond Marvel Snap. While I frequently cover Marvel Snap updates, other titles often end up in my Monday "Best Updates" articles. That's a fair criticism! So, let's dedicate a Marvel Minute to see what's happening in other Marvel mobile games. It turns out Marvel Future Fight and Marvel Contest of Champions both have exciting new events. Let's take a look!
First, Marvel Future Fight is celebrating Iron Man! Tony Stark, always innovating, is getting new suits and weaponry. This event, inspired by Invincible Iron Man, introduces new outfits for Tony and Pepper. Here's what the update notes reveal:
“Invincible Iron Man has arrived in Marvel Future Fight.
Upgrade your suits and defeat enemies!
New Uniforms: Iron Man and Rescue.
New Tier-4 Advancement: War Machine and Hulkbuster.
New Legend+ World Boss: The Black Order's Corvus & Proxima return!
New Custom Gear: C.T.P. of Liberation added!
200 Crystals Event: Link your email for 200 crystals!”
Now, let's move to the popular fighting game, Marvel Contest of Champions. New events usually introduce playable characters, and this game boasts an incredibly diverse roster. The inclusion of less common characters is a treat for longtime Marvel fans. Here are the update details:
“NEW CHAMPIONS
Count Nefaria: A Maggia crime syndicate leader with superhuman abilities gained through scientific experimentation. Resurrected as an ionic being, he's effectively immortal as long as he absorbs ionic energy.
Shathra: Daughter of Oshtur and Gaea, from Loomworld. Tasked with creating the Celestial Map of Humanity, her jealousy led her to a vengeful quest against her sister and the Great Web.
NEW QUESTS AND EVENTS
Event Quest – Lupus In Fabula: A mission to evict villains from The Collector's ship, filled with challenges and unexpected plots.
Side Quest – Ludum Maximus: The Maestro's celebratory games, hosted by Count Nefaria, with randomized paths and challenging foes.
Act 9; Chapter 1 – The Reckoning: The aftermath of Glykhan's self-destruction and the ongoing machinations of Ouroboros.
Glorious Games: A four-month saga celebrating the Contest's history, featuring a classical antiquity theme, Champion reworks, and new events.
Realm Events: Global collaborative events with milestone and ranked rewards.”
Both events look fantastic! If you're a lapsed player or new to these games, this is a great time to jump in. I'm definitely checking out Count Nefaria – he looks delightfully nefarious! Enjoy!
