Clash Royale revisits the past with Retro Royale mode

By FinnMay 22,2025

Supercell is taking us back to the roots with the introduction of the new Retro Royale Mode in Clash Royale, celebrating the game's anniversary by revisiting its 2017 launch. Available for a limited time from March 12th to the 26th, this nostalgic mode offers players the chance to dive into the original meta and card selection. As you ascend the 30-step Retro Ladder, you'll be competing with a limited pool of 80 cards, all while earning exciting rewards like Gold and Season Tokens.

The competition intensifies as you progress through the ranks. Once you reach the Competitive League, your starting rank will be determined by your progress on the Tropy Road. From there, it's all about your performance in Retro Royale. Keep climbing the leaderboard to showcase your enduring skills and demonstrate your timeless talents.
