How to Open the Doorway to Nowhere and Find Pack-a-Punch

Unlike other maps like Terminus and Citadelle des Morts, reaching the Pack-a-Punch machine in The Tomb involves navigating to its specific location. This task is easier said than done, especially with the initial objective of opening the Doorway to Nowhere at the start of each match. This teleporter grants access to the Dark Aether Nexus within The Tomb.

To locate the Doorway to Nowhere, head to the Subterranean Temple area of The Tomb. You can reach this by progressing through the map and unlocking doors. Once inside the Temple, approach the altar and place the Amulet item there by holding the interact button. You'll always start with the Amulet, so no need to search for it. After a few moments, the Doorway to Nowhere will open, allowing you to enter the Dark Aether Nexus.

Within the Dark Aether Nexus, you'll find the Pack-a-Punch machine near the center of the area. However, keep in mind that it will move after some time. If you wish to continue upgrading your weapon, you'll need to track down its new location.

Every Pack-a-Punch Location in The Tomb and How To Find Them

There are several locations where the Pack-a-Punch machine can spawn in The Tomb. Initially, it will always appear within the Dark Aether Nexus. Alternatively, it can be found closer to the starting point, at the top of the Dig Site in an ornate ruin known as the Roman Mausoleum.

To determine the current location of the Pack-a-Punch machine, use your Tac-Map. The main area of The Tomb and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If you don't see the Pack-a-Punch icon on the map in one location, it means the machine is in the other area.

Another method to check its location is by observing a stone slab with lit areas, similar to how you track the Mystery Box. If the icon appears on the main map, head to the corresponding location. If the lit-up Pack-a-Punch symbol is on an island separate from the main map on the stone slab, it indicates that the machine is currently within the Dark Aether Nexus.
