Dredge\'s mobile port delayed until next year but a closed beta test is planned for December

By AriaJan 07,2025

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a bit longer for the mobile version. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the unsettling town of Greater Marrow. What starts as simple fishing quickly descends into encounters with bizarre sea creatures, mysterious beings, and unsettling events on a nearby island. The game's psychological horror elements add a chilling layer to the fishing gameplay.

A worthwhile wait?

The delay is understandable, given the complexity of porting such a rich and detailed game to mobile. However, the numerous awards and critical acclaim Dredge has received suggest the wait will be worth it. The additional closed beta offers a valuable opportunity for player feedback and further refinement before the official launch.
