EvoCreo2 Devs Clarify Multiplayer, Shiny Rates, Cloud Saves FAQs

Last week, the much-anticipated sequel to the popular game EvoCreo, titled EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, was released on Android. In response to player inquiries, the developers at ilmfinity took to Reddit to address the community's biggest questions and offer a glimpse into the future of the game.

If you haven't yet explored EvoCreo2, it's set in the vibrant world of Shoru, where you can catch, train, and battle with over 300 unique Creo. The game also features a compelling storyline where you begin as a recruit at the Shoru Police Academy, tasked with solving the mystery of disappearing monsters. Throughout your journey, you'll embark on over 50 missions, unravel secrets, and face tough competition in battles.

Answers to the Most-Asked Questions About EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG

First off, multiplayer functionality is in the works but won't be available immediately. The developers are prioritizing bug fixes and game balance before introducing multiplayer. Similarly, controller support and cloud saves are also on the roadmap but will be implemented later.

Another common query revolves around the shiny rates for Creo. Regular shinies have a 0.2% chance of appearing, while rare shinies have an even lower 0.02% chance. It's worth noting that starter Creo can never be shiny.

The developers have also clarified what affects the capture rate of Creo. Lowering a Creo's HP and applying status conditions can increase your chances of capture. However, rare, high-level, and shiny Creo are inherently harder to catch.

Looking ahead, the roadmap for EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG focuses on refining the game in the initial months. Following this, cloud saves and controller support will be introduced, paving the way for additional story content and, eventually, multiplayer features.

While waiting for these updates, you can dive into EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG by downloading it from the Google Play Store.
