My Father Lied A Mesopotamia-themed Point and Click Title Launches in May

By AndrewFeb 02,2025

Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in My Father Lied, Ahmed Alameen's debut point-and-click adventure game, launching May 30th!

This narrative-driven puzzler, inspired by Mesopotamian history, casts you as Huda, a young woman investigating her father's vanishing twenty years prior. The discovery of a previously unknown brother reignites her search for answers.

Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to bring his vision to life.

Gameplay involves classic point-and-click mechanics: explore captivating environments, piece together images, decipher codes, and unravel the truth. The game blends the atmosphere of Myst and Heaven's Vault with the chilling literary style of H.P. Lovecraft.

Alameen's innovative approach utilizes a mix of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including hand-crafted cutscenes, ensuring high-quality visuals playable on even low-spec PCs.

My Father Lied arrives May 30th on App Store, Google Play, and Steam for $10.99/€. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available. Stay updated via Lunar Games on X, Discord, TikTok, and Instagram. And don't miss the upcoming Kickstarter campaign!
