Final Fantasy XIV Free Login Campaign Returns!
Final Fantasy XIV is offering another chance to revisit Eorzea with the return of its Free Login Campaign, running until February 6th, 2025. This campaign allows eligible players with inactive accounts to enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay. The campaign is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
This free playtime opportunity follows the recent release of Patch 7.15, which included new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, notably the return of the popular Hildibrand storyline and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message further fueled anticipation, confirming the arrival of Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, alongside smaller updates. He also teased future directions for the Dawntrail main storyline, sparking much player discussion.
The Free Login Campaign, beginning January 9th, 2025, at 3:00 AM Eastern Time and ending February 6th, 2025, at 9:59 AM Eastern Time, provides a welcome return for lapsed players. The four-day play timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility requires a purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Players with suspended or canceled accounts due to Terms of Service violations are not eligible. Square Enix encourages players to verify their eligibility via the Mog Station.
While the free period is active, players can participate in the Heavensturn event (ending January 16th) to earn a special minion reward. Patch 7.16, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest side series, is also slated for release on January 21st.
This Free Login Campaign provides a perfect opportunity for returning adventurers to catch up on the Dawntrail storyline before the arrival of Patch 7.2. The future of Dawntrail remains shrouded in mystery, leaving players eagerly anticipating Square Enix's next reveal.
