"FragPunk: Optimize Your Settings and Crosshair"

By LillianMar 27,2025

Many games struggle with optimization issues at launch, which are often resolved through subsequent patches. However, *FragPunk* has been running smoothly since its release, though there's always room for improvement in terms of frame rates. Here, we'll explore the best *FragPunk* settings and crosshair codes to enhance your gaming experience.

FragPunk Settings Overview

The settings in *FragPunk* are organized into five tabs. While the Video tab significantly impacts performance, other tabs mainly focus on quality-of-life and accessibility features, which can still enhance gameplay. Here, we'll cover the essential settings, leaving others to be adjusted based on personal preference.

General

The General tab houses most of the quality-of-life settings, which you should experiment with to find what suits you best. Here are some recommended adjustments:

  • Automatic Climbing – On
  • Automatic Sprint – On
  • Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
  • FOV Sprint Scaling – On
  • Flash Eye Guarding – On
  • Keep Player Centered – On
  • Minimap Orientation Rotate – On
  • Performance Metrics – On
  • Ping Visibility – 1
  • Hide Overly Visible Skin Components from Enemies – On

This tab also includes options for customizing your crosshair, which we'll discuss later.

Keyboard/Controller

These sections allow for key binding adjustments. With Automatic Sprint enabled, the Shift key is freed up, making it ideal to bind walking to Shift, a common setup in other tactical shooters like *VALORANT* and *CS2*.

Sensitivity

Sensitivity settings are purely a matter of personal preference. You can experiment or convert sensitivity from games like *VALORANT* or *CS2* using online calculators.

Audio

For optimal audio settings, adjust the Sound Effects volume to a comfortable level and lower the Music, Announcer, and Button Volume. Enable Character Voice Simplification to cut down on unnecessary chatter. Voice Chat settings are up to individual preference.
