Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered, accessing the Cell Garden becomes crucial for the main storyline and later, for efficient resource gathering. This safe haven offers a more controlled environment compared to standard operations. While multiple Cell Gardens exist, accessing them follows a consistent pattern regardless of your game progression. Here's a guide to locating and utilizing these valuable areas.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Your initial encounter with the Cell Garden stems from Mattias' request to investigate a ghost story. To begin, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the block's left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interacting with this device transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a similar device, leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process one last time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that finally grants access to the Cell Garden.

This access method remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-main quest completion, you can freely access any Cell Garden, but acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement is highly recommended.

Each device leading to a new area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The initial Cell Garden story mission differs from subsequent uses. Here's how it works outside of the main quest:

  • A one-minute time limit is imposed.
  • The room's layout changes each visit.
  • Eight resource orbs (small green orbs) are scattered throughout.

To extend your Cell Garden time, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. Some layouts present puzzles, increasing the challenge. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute timer, becomes available at CODE level 3.
