The creators of the critically acclaimed CrossCode have officially announced their next title: Alabaster Dawn. Formerly known as "Project Terra," the game's reveal came via a recent developer blog post. Alabaster Dawn is targeting a Steam Early Access release in late 2025. While a precise date remains unconfirmed, you can wishlist the game on Steam now.

A public demo is also planned for the future, preceding the Early Access launch.

For Gamescom attendees, Radical Fish Games will be showcasing Alabaster Dawn. Hands-on opportunities will be limited, but the studio promises booth presence for chats from Wednesday to Friday.

Alabaster Dawn's Combat: A Fusion of Influences

Alabaster Dawn unfolds in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, left desolate by the goddess Nyx. As Juno, the Outcast Chosen, your mission is to rekindle the embers of humanity and break Nyx's curse.

Expect an expansive adventure, with an estimated 30-60 hours of gameplay spread across seven diverse regions. Rebuild settlements, forge trade routes, and engage in thrilling combat inspired by Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and the studio's own CrossCode. Master eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree. Additional gameplay elements include parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking.

The developers celebrated a significant milestone: the first 1-2 hours of gameplay are nearly complete. While seemingly modest, they emphasize this as a major achievement in the development process.
