GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM’s Gacha System: A Comprehensive Guide

GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, the eagerly awaited sequel, introduces a captivating new storyline, stunning visuals, and refined gameplay, centered around its Gacha system for acquiring characters (T-dolls) and weapons. Mastering this system is key to building a powerful squad. This guide details the Gacha mechanics and banner types.

Understanding the Gacha Mechanics

The Gacha system utilizes a randomized loot box mechanic. Summons, using various in-game currencies (including event-specific currencies), yield characters and weapons. The rarity distribution is as follows:

  • SSR T-dolls/Weapons: 0.3%
  • SR T-dolls/Weapons: 3%

All banners offer a mixed pool of T-dolls and weapons. Let's explore the banner types:

Beginner Procurement Banner

Designed for new players, this banner offers a substantial early advantage. While limited to 50 pulls, it guarantees an SSR T-doll within those 50 pulls via a pity system. This pity system activates within the final ten pulls if an SSR hasn't been obtained.

Specific drop rates and pity mechanics are:

  • SSR T-dolls: 0.6%
  • SR T-dolls/Weapons: 6%
  • Guaranteed SR every 10 pulls.
  • Guaranteed SSR every 80 pulls.
  • Second SSR guaranteed to be the rate-up character (hard pity at 160 pulls) if the featured character isn't obtained on the first SSR.
  • Soft pity starts at the 58th pull.
  • Pity does not carry over to other banners.
