If you're a devoted follower of Hearthstone, Blizzard's hit World of Warcraft-themed card battler, you're in for a treat. Not only is Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature set to go live on April 29th, but the new mini set, Embers of the World Tree, is also releasing on May 13th. Both updates promise to bring exciting new minions, unique card types, and other additions to spice up your matches.
The theme of Embers of the World Tree revolves around the Druids of the Flame attacking this ancient monument. Both the Druids and the opposing Dream Defenders will gain new Imbue and Dark Gifts, with the Druids wielding Fire Magic to light up your opponents! The highlight of this mini set is the introduction of Smouldering Cards. These new cards become stronger the longer they remain in your hand, but be cautious; if you hold onto them too long, they'll flame out and disappear. Strategic planning will be key to maximizing their value.

Moving beyond the mini set, let's dive into what Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature has in store. Trinkets are making a comeback, with passive power-ups available on Turn 6 and Turn 9 for lesser and greater trinkets, respectively. You'll also have the chance to harness the power of the wilds with two new heroes: Cenarius and Buttons.
The season also introduces over 75 new and returning characters and Tavern spells to the minion pool. Additionally, the Season 10 Battlegrounds Track comes loaded with plenty of new themed cosmetics for the completionists out there!
