The patch includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit that enables enthusiasts to create new content such as dungeons, quests, and character modifications. The renowned platform CurseForge will manage and distribute these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a new mod manager, designed to help players easily discover and install mods that catch their eye.
On the launch day of mod support, players can dive into several pre-approved mods, including the "Dungeon of Doom." This new dungeon offers a thrilling challenge with numerous enemies to battle and hidden secrets to uncover. However, there is a caveat: to access mods, players will need to link their game accounts to a WB Games account.
Alongside mod support, the patch will enhance the game with additional character customization options, including new hairstyles and outfits. The developers have provided a glimpse of what's to come in the trailer showcasing examples of these mods.
