Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit and exciting events.
New Battlesuit and Gear:
Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two forms: Rampager (javelin attacks) and Skyrider (hoverboard combos). Her ultimate involves a sky-high javelin launch, obliterating enemies. The Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage) enhances Reign Solaris' QTEs and javelin count. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, highlights Durandal's parallel universe escapades, featuring soccer, bands, skateboarding, and more.
Main Story and Events:
Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars, continuing Dreamseeker's investigation into the Ten Shus War, revealing more about Coralie's fate and a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.
A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, offers 60 million Crystals, Source Prisms, and other rewards as you solve puzzles as Cube-ianka.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event brings comedic chaos with Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. Help Kiana dodge falling drumsticks, command followers in battle, and even become a monster trainer. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
