Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled exciting new content launching January 10th at 1 AM PST with Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls. This includes the highly anticipated arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a new battle pass.
A recent gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, utilizing attacks that damage foes while simultaneously healing allies. Her kit includes a knockback for close-range threats, temporary invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
Also featured in recent footage is Mister Fantastic, a Duelist-style character boasting high health and versatile stretching attacks. He's described by some as a blend of Duelist and Vanguard capabilities. However, fans anticipating Blade's arrival in Season 1 will be disappointed. While data mining suggests his presence in the game files, he's not included in this initial launch. Dracula will instead serve as the main antagonist for Season 1.
The developers have confirmed that full seasons will span approximately three months, with substantial mid-season updates around six to seven weeks after launch. This is when players can expect the arrival of Human Torch and The Thing, completing the Fantastic Four roster. Despite the absence of Blade this season, the new content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
