The studio recently shared on Discord that they've initiated testing with a select group of 100 volunteers. With recruitment for testers now complete, it's clear that the development is ramping up towards the finish line.
While the specifics of the new hardcore mode are still closely guarded secrets, fans can anticipate a challenge level that echoes the original *Kingdom Come: Deliverance*. In the first game, the hardcore mode ramped up the difficulty by restricting save options, boosting enemy damage, complicating navigation, cutting down gold rewards, and adding negative perks. The testers involved are under strict confidentiality agreements, preventing them from sharing any screenshots or videos of the hardcore mode.
