League of Legends: Wild Rift Version 6.2 "Powers Unbound" Coming July 17

League of Legends: Wild Rift prepares for its version 6.2 update titled "Powers Unbound," launching July 17 with the Soulforce Awakening theme. This major patch introduces fresh champions, revamped itemization, gameplay tweaks, enhanced behavior monitoring, alongside premium cosmetic items.

Wild Rift 6.2 Delivers Game-Changing Content

Three new combatants enter the battlefield. Aurora, the interdimensional witch, emerges as an AP assassin designed for high-skill mid lane play. Her kit incentivizes strategic positioning and decisive engagement timing.

Next arrives Bard, accompanied by his iconic meep companions. The cosmic wanderer introduces game-altering portal mechanics that redefine team rotations.

Completing the trio is Vel'Koz, the Void-born artillery mage specializing in angular projectile attacks. This geometry-focused champion rewards precise firing solutions against distant targets.

Core Gameplay Evolutions

The update overhauls foundational items including Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge and Essence Reaver. The new Soul Transfer item empowers marksmen by generating phantom attackers during critical strikes.

Among whimsical additions, an enchanted porker now patrols major objective pits. Defeating this roaming creature grants resources and occasional tower-charging allies. Magical environmental surprises also appear across the map.

Enhanced Competitive Infrastructure

Version 6.2 implements an innovative Player Behavior Scoring system that categorizes participants across five conduct tiers. Exemplary players earn ranked access and bonuses, while toxic participants face restricted functionality and competitive handicaps.

The update synchronizes ranked and Legendary Queue progression while restructuring the Grandmaster tier into three distinct divisions for smoother competitive advancement.
