Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Brings Black and White Kyurem!
Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! Black and White Kyurem are finally arriving as part of the global GO Tour: Unova event, taking place March 1st and 2nd. These legendary Pokémon will be appearing in raids, with a chance to catch their shiny forms. Plus, special event backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White will be available.
The highly anticipated arrival of Black and White Kyurem has been a long time coming, generating significant excitement among fans. Their potential impact on the game's meta adds to the anticipation. While a surprise early release occurred in 2023, their official debut within the Unova-themed event is perfectly timed.
The GO Tour: Unova event runs globally from 10 AM to 6 PM local time on March 1st and 2nd. Trainers can encounter Black and White Kyurem in raids and attempt to catch their shiny variants.
Fusion Frenzy:
Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion, players can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokémon. Black Kyurem fuses with Zekrom using 1000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy, learning the attack Freeze Shock. White Kyurem fuses with Reshiram using 1000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy, learning Ice Burn. Separating these fusions is free. Fusion energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids.
Exclusive Event Rewards:
Two unique backgrounds themed after Pokémon Black and White will be awarded. Completing both fusions (Black Kyurem with Zekrom and White Kyurem with Reshiram) unlocks a third, special background.
