Here, you'll encounter a woman in the town center discussing a game involving the collection of origami butterflies. As you ride through the city, you'll come across these large paper butterflies, which are pinned to tree trunks and surrounded by real butterflies.
Collecting these butterflies will lead you to uncover sinister notes, revealing the true nature of the Butterfly Collector. Contrary to its seemingly innocent name, this is a clandestine group of women involved in the kidnapping of children from affluent families, aiming to gain power and influence. Your mission is clear: you must stop them.
The faction consists of five members, each with their own story and location within the game.

Shucho

Shucho's carelessness leads you to her in the Fishermen’s District at the southeastern tip of Osaka. Dressed in green, she can be found at an intersection, searching frantically for a kidnapped child. Use Naoe's stealth or Yasuke's brute force to take her down and then save the child, who is hiding behind some nearby horses.
Mucho

From Shucho's location, head northwest across the bridge to the Kojo ruins. Mucho poses as a family jochu to get close to her targets. You'll find her struggling with her current mark on the road just south of the ruins. Use the child's resistance to your advantage, and engage Mucho when she attacks. After defeating her, escort the child back to her mother before moving on to the next target.
Richo

Richo, a young woman who disguises herself as someone of higher standing, can be found in the bamboo grove at the northern end of Osaka, near Noda Village. Locals may mention a suspicious woman frequenting the area, checking on a ransom. Approach the grove, and you'll find Richo dressed in pink. Take her down, either stealthily or in combat, and rescue the kidnapped child.
Kacho

After defeating the previous three members, you'll uncover Kacho, the leader of the Butterfly Collector. Her control over the group is cult-like, making her a formidable opponent. She's located just north of the Nishinomaru Garden, west of Osaka Castle, in a restricted zone. Follow the butterflies to find her. Engage in conversation, then prepare for a deadly confrontation. Kacho will fight to the death, leaving one final member to address.
Gamemaker
The Gamemaker initiated the butterfly collecting quest, and you'll find her at her marked location on the map. As a former victim, she created the game in hopes of someone unraveling the mystery and saving others. You'll face a choice: punish her for her involvement or allow her to start anew. Choosing the latter lets her adopt a new identity and life.
Make your decision, and the Butterfly Collector faction will be dismantled, earning you 5,500 XP toward the next level.
