Get ready, Call of Duty: Warzone fans! The much-anticipated return of the beloved Verdansk map is almost here. March 10th, 2025, is the date many are pointing to, following a cryptic countdown appearing in the Call of Duty shop (thanks to InsiderGaming for the heads-up).
Activision initially teased Verdansk's comeback last August, promising a Spring 2025 release. Now, a countdown and a nostalgic image featuring an alpine setting—complete with snow, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane—strongly suggest the original Verdansk is making its grand return. This will be a welcome sight for players who’ve only been able to experience it through Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Remember that 2021 statement declaring Verdansk's demise? Looks like they were wrong!

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 has launched, bringing five new multiplayer maps (Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind), the return of Gun Game, new weapons, operators, and a rather extravagant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. Warzone, however, has received a slightly reduced content update as the developers focus on resolving critical issues, including gameplay adjustments, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.
