Marvel has plans for Moon Knight's return to the MCU, but a Season 2 isn't in the cards. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum told ComicBook that while a second season isn't happening, fans can expect more of Oscar Isaac's character in future projects. This shift in strategy reflects a change in Marvel Television's approach. Previously, the focus was on introducing characters through standalone shows before integrating them into larger MCU narratives (like Ms. Marvel leading to The Marvels). Now, the aim is to create self-contained, annual series, more akin to traditional television. Winderbaum expressed his personal desire for a Season 2, emphasizing that future Moon Knight appearances are planned, though not in the form of a direct sequel.
While Isaac voiced Moon Knight in Marvel's What If...?, his return in live-action remains unannounced.
The MCU's upcoming TV slate includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December). Recently, Marvel Television reportedly paused production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc., but Winderbaum indicated that a project reuniting the Defenders (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist) is under consideration.
