Guide to Stealth Rock Throwing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

By LilySep 23,2025

While open combat may thrill, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a stealth system for slipping past enemies. Rock throwing enhances your stealth strategy, and here’s how to master it.

How to Throw Rocks in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

You can only throw rocks while in stealth mode, activated by pressing the right stick on a controller or the C key on PC. Depending on your platform, hold the following button to throw a rock:

  • PlayStation: R1
  • Xbox: RB
  • PC: G

While holding the button, Henry’s right hand appears with a pebble, and a small crosshair shows your aim. Choose your target spot, then release the button to throw the rock.

Stealth rewards the cunning, and rocks are unlimited, so you don’t need to retrieve missed throws, allowing you to focus on strategy.

Since Henry throws small pebbles, their noise radius is limited, so aim close to your target. Hitting objects like cups or plates creates a louder sound to attract attention.

A successful throw lures enemies to investigate, muttering in confusion. You can then stealthily eliminate them or slip away. Be cautious—hitting an enemy with a rock causes an immediate alert.

Rocks can also knock down bird nests scattered across the map, yielding rewards like eggs for minor nourishment or rare dice badges if luck is on your side.
