Since its June 10 release, MindsEye has faced widespread criticism regarding glitches, bugs, and poor performance. Players across social media platforms have voiced their frustrations about the game's unstable state.
On Twitter/X, user Synth Potato shared a distorted character screenshot on June 11 with the caption: "MindsEye isn't meeting expectations." Other players echoed these concerns, noting severe stuttering issues affecting gameplay - even on PlayStation 5 Pro hardware.

Numerous videos have surfaced showcasing various technical problems: enemies behaving erratically during combat, NPCs breaking animation loops, players falling through maps, and more. These issues have resulted in "Mixed" Steam reviews, with negative feedback comprising 60% of total ratings.
