Mussels are a type of mollusk found exclusively in specific Storybook Vale biomes. While some players report finding them easily, others struggle with their infrequent spawns.
Mussel Locations in Mythopia
Mussels can be found while foraging in these Mythopia areas:
- The Elysian Fields
- The Fiery Plains
- The Statue's Shadow
- Mount Olympus
While spawns seem random, some players have reported higher concentrations near Trial areas (e.g., the first Trial in the Elysian Fields). Clearing the secret bush area in the Elysian Fields (during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest) may also increase mussel spawns across Mythopia.
Mussel Uses
Unlike some other seafood, Mussels aren't used in crafting. Their primary uses are:
- Cooking: They're essential ingredients in Garlic Steam Mussels, Mussel Risotto, and Steamed Mussels.
- Energy: Consuming a Mussel restores +150 energy.
- Selling: Each Mussel sells for 75 Gold Star Coins at Goofy's Stalls.
