This year's event features a selection of limited-time game modes (like Yeti Hunt and Mei's Snowball Offensive), holiday-themed cosmetics, and, most importantly, several free Legendary skins. This guide details how to unlock these coveted rewards.
Four Free Legendary Skins
This Winter Wonderland event offers four free Legendary skins:
- Casual Hanzo: A relaxed, everyday look for the Shimada brother.
- Chic Widowmaker: A stylish winter outfit for the deadly assassin.
- Cozy Cassidy: A warm and comfortable winter ensemble for the gunslinger.
- Merry Marionette Echo: A festive, puppet-inspired skin for the support hero.
Unlocking the Skins
Casual Hanzo: This skin is available throughout the entire Winter Wonderland event. Complete 8 games of Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade modes to unlock it. Wins count double, so only 4 wins are needed!
Chic Widowmaker, Cozy Cassidy, & Merry Marionette Echo: These three skins became available on December 19th, 2024, and remain obtainable until the event concludes on January 6th, 2025. They're earned through gameplay:
- Merry Marionette Echo: Complete 3 games (wins count double).
- Cozy Cassidy: Complete 6 games (wins count double), including a matching highlight intro.
- Chic Widowmaker: Complete 9 games (wins count double), including a matching highlight intro.
