Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular roguelike deck-builder, Pirates Outlaws, is setting sail! Developed by Fabled Game Studio, this enhanced version promises a thrilling adventure at sea with a host of exciting new features. Expected to launch in 2025 on Android, iOS, Steam, and Epic Games Store, the game is currently undergoing an open beta test on Steam from October 25th to 31st.

What's New in Pirates Outlaws 2?

Prepare to embark on a new journey with a fresh hero, whose story unfolds years after the events of the original game. This hero boasts pre-built decks and unique abilities, setting the stage for a personalized experience. The sequel introduces companions, each contributing their own specialized cards to your arsenal. A new card fusion mechanic allows you to combine three identical cards into a more powerful variant.

Strategic depth is further enhanced with an evolution tree for deck upgrades, offering players meaningful choices in how their deck develops. Even previously discarded cards can now be upgraded! The acquisition of relics has been revamped; they are now found in markets, after boss battles, and during special events, adding an element of surprise and exploration.

Battles incorporate a new Countdown system, influencing enemy actions and strategic decision-making. The traditional "End Turn" button is replaced with a "ReDraw" mechanic. A new armor and shield system adds another layer of tactical depth to combat.
