Clash Royale has finally introduced a major upgrade to its Inferno Dragon. Following nearly a decade without an Evolution form, this legendary flying unit receives its long-awaited enhancement. The Inferno Dragon's Evolution form introduces significant gameplay changes. Unlike the original version's damage reset when switching targets, the evolved variant maintains its increasing damage output for more devastating attacks.
Inferno Dragon Evolution Launches New Season
The latest season, titled How to Evolve Your Dragon!, brings both the Inferno Dragon Evolution and the return of 2v2 League battles. Partner with friends or random teammates to climb the competitive ranks.
Milestone Events beginning at Arena 7 offer valuable rewards including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.
Crown Chase #1 features a Battle Banner with unique frame and decorations, plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with additional Battle Banner rewards and Evolution Shards.
To showcase the new Evolution content, developers have prepared a summer lineup of special Game Modes and Challenges throughout June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge from June 6-9 with exclusive Battle Banner and Emote rewards.
Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allows decks with up to 4 Evolution Cards. Magical Trio follows June 16-23, then 4 Card Showdown June 23-30. The season culminates with Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7), which permits up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck for maximum gameplay variety.
