Pokémon Go now lets you join Raids from your friend list

Pokémon Go simplifies Raid joining via friends list! Now, Great Friends and above can easily join each other's Raids. This minor but welcome update allows players to see friends' active Raids, the battling boss, and join in to assist without needing an invitation. For solo players, an in-settings toggle allows opting out of this feature.

Full details are available on the official Pokémon Go blog. This seemingly small change is a significant improvement, streamlining the Raid experience for friends playing together. It suggests Niantic is increasingly responsive to player feedback.
