Pokémon GO has announced a new Tour Pass launching February 24th, adding to the excitement of the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event. This event features Gen 5-themed wild encounters, raids, and egg spawns.
The annual Pokémon GO Tour celebrates a different region each year around Pokémon Day. Past Tours included Kanto (2021), introducing nine previously unavailable Shiny Pokémon, and Sinnoh (2024), featuring special Pikachu variants and Dialga & Palkia Origin Forme.
This year's Unova Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time, offers a free version. Players earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs. Milestones unlock rewards like Candy and Stickers, culminating in a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire March 9th, 6 PM.
Pokémon GO Announces New Pass for Unova GO Tour
Alongside the free Tour Pass, a $14.99 deluxe version (available on the Pokémon GO webstore from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM) offers all free and paid rewards, a Mythical Victini encounter, and a new Lucky Trinket. This single-use item makes a chosen friend a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on the next trade, then resetting the status. A $19.99 deluxe version with 10 unlocked ranks will also be available. Deluxe Pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire March 9th, 6 PM.
The Unova Tour Pass enhances the anticipation for an event featuring Kyurem (Black and White forms) debuting via fusion, similar to Necrozma in last year's Tour. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via a ticketed Masterwork Research.
