Pokémon Go's year-end festivities culminate in Charged Embers Hatch Day, a special event featuring increased Elekid and Magby hatch rates. This event runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on December 29th, offering a boosted chance to encounter these Pokémon and their Shiny variants.
The three-hour event window sees a significant increase in Elekid and Magby hatching from 2km Eggs, alongside heightened Shiny rates. Players will also receive double Candy for every Egg hatched during this period.
To maximize hatching efficiency, a pre-event bonus begins Friday, December 27th, at 10:00 AM, lasting until the end of Hatch Day. This bonus halves the distance required to hatch Eggs placed in Incubators. Don't forget to redeem available Pokémon Go codes for extra rewards!
Free Timed Research will be available, granting a Super Incubator and XP upon completion. A paid Timed Research option ($1) offers a Super Incubator, a Star Piece, and 2,500 XP. Additionally, players will earn 2x Hatch Stardust throughout the event.
