Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can elevate the experience to new heights, but even the best teams have their moments of vulnerability. In R.E.P.O., where the monsters are notoriously tough, squad members can take turns being the one in need of revival. Here's a detailed guide on how to bring your teammates back to life in R.E.P.O. after they've been taken down.

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in R.E.P.O., your health is at a full 100. You can lose health from encounters with monsters or even from your own items like Human Grenades. To recover, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station or share health with teammates by interacting with their health bar—a unique mechanic that fosters teamwork.

Despite these health management options, the relentless monsters in R.E.P.O. can still overpower your squad. If a teammate falls, you have two revival options. The first involves picking up their head, which drops to the ground upon death. Keep an eye on where they fall or use the map to locate the head, marked by a small icon matching their character's color.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you've secured the head, head to the extraction point. Drop the head there, and if your team has met the round's loot requirement (checkable at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to gain some additional health, ensuring they're not a liability to the squad. It's then back to business as usual.

However, if retrieving the head isn't feasible, there's an alternative method: start a new round. Similar to Call of Duty Zombies, this round-based approach allows fallen players to return at the beginning of the next round. While this method leaves you at a disadvantage for the remainder of the current round, it can be a strategic move, especially if a player is new and needs time to observe and learn from more experienced teammates.
