Conroy, touched by the fan's personal story, chose to deliver far more than a perfunctory response. This unexpected act of kindness proved a lifeline for the fan during incredibly challenging times.

A moving account of this interaction surfaced on Reddit. The gamer, profoundly impacted by Batman: Arkham Knight's conclusion – where Batman confronts his own fears, paranoia, and hallucinations – saw a powerful parallel to his own struggle with schizophrenia. Expressing his gratitude, he shared his condition with Conroy, explaining how the Dark Knight's journey resonated with his own fight.

Expecting a standard Cameo video, he was overwhelmed by Conroy's response: a lengthy message brimming with support and understanding.

The fan shared: "This video has saved me from suicide countless times. Hearing Batman say he believed in me was incredibly powerful... But as time went on, it became just as important that it was Kevin himself who believed in me."
