By NatalieJun 12,2025

Sky: Children of the Light is set to welcome 2025 in vibrant style with the arrival of the highly anticipated Season of Radiance update. This colorful new chapter promises a fresh wave of content, highlighted by the introduction of a powerful customization feature that lets players bring their own unique flair to the game.

At the heart of this update lies the brand-new Dye Workshop, located in the serene Aviary Village. Under the guidance of the Radiance Guide, players will learn how to harness the power of dyes to transform their in-game cosmetics—offering a full spectrum of possibilities for personal expression.

This isn’t just about applying simple color changes. To create dyes, players must first gather new Dark Plants scattered across the kingdom. Once collected, these ingredients can be used in the dye-making process. What’s more, players can experiment with mixing different dyes to craft custom shades, giving rise to endless combinations and truly personalized looks.

And there's plenty to customize. New cosmetic items—including hairstyles, capes, and outfits—are being added to the game, offering even more ways to show off your signature style.

The Season of Radiance will officially go live on January 20th, 2025. While it may have taken some time for Thatgamecompany to introduce such a dynamic color system, this update is sure to resonate with both longtime fans and newcomers alike, adding a rich new layer of creativity and fun to the experience.
