How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this cache, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While the maze has multiple entrances, use the main entrance indicated on the map above for the easiest access.
Once inside, proceed to the right until you reach a wrecked bus lying on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to locate the cache. Descend on the opposite side and open the cache to obtain the Tourist Suit Body Armor.
Is the Tourist Suit Armor Effective?
The Tourist Suit is a highly effective piece of armor, especially in the early to mid-game stages of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers substantial protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key strengths lie in its exceptional radiation and physical damage resistance, allowing you to endure higher radiation levels and other forms of damage.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, the Tourist Suit also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Stamina is crucial in Stalker 2, as extensive travel on foot is common. Improved stamina regeneration allows for longer periods of movement, significantly easing exploration.
While the Tourist Suit is already strong, its effectiveness can be further enhanced through upgrades. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise. He can equip the suit with high-quality modifications to further improve its attributes.
