Star Wars Outlaws is set to receive a significant update this November, as announced by the newly appointed Creative Director, Drew Rechner. Dive in to discover more about the update's focus and what Rechner had to share.
Star Wars Outlaws Title Update 1.4 Releases This November 21st
In their first major post-launch update for Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft's new Creative Director, Drew Rechner, has shared plans to enhance the game’s mechanics and player experience, responding directly to fan feedback on crucial areas such as combat, stealth, and controls. According to the developer’s post, this "biggest update yet" will be released on November 21, coinciding with the game’s debut on Steam and the launch of its first DLC.
The developer update begins with a heartfelt thank-you from Rechner to the Outlaws community for their enthusiasm and support, from "fan arts, comments, and videos you’ve created around the game." Beyond these gestures, Rechner, in his inaugural message as Creative Director, acknowledges the valuable constructive feedback from players. "Thank you for sharing with us and helping us make the game even better," he stated.
With three title updates already released, Massive Entertainment is addressing some of the most significant community concerns head-on. These patches have tackled bugs, enhanced mission dynamics, and refined the speeder camera and collision for a smoother experience across desert planets and lush jungles.
While Game8 awarded the game a score of 90, praising it as an exceptional game that does justice to the Star Wars franchise,
Rechner believes there's still room for improvement. In their Developer Update, he pinpointed three key areas that could "elevate the game even further."
