Superliminal a puzzle game about escaping a dream is coming to mobile

By NoraFeb 06,2025

Superliminal, the acclaimed indie puzzle game, arrives on mobile devices this July! Prepare to escape a surreal, recurring dream using the power of perspective.

This first-person puzzle adventure, launching July 30th on the App Store and Google Play, allows for pre-registration now. Originally released on Steam in 2020 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, the mobile version will include controller support.

The story begins with a late-night TV commercial for Dr. Pierce's dream therapy. What starts as a simple doze turns into an involuntary participation in a bizarre experiment. Trapped in a repeating dream, you must navigate mind-bending puzzles to break free.

Guided (somewhat) by the helpful Dr. Glenn Pierce and his less-than-helpful AI assistant, you'll manipulate object sizes, creating pathways and overcoming obstacles through clever use of forced perspective. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, requiring precise viewpoints for solutions.

Enjoy a 25% launch discount for the first two weeks ($7.99 thereafter). A free trial is also available. For more information, visit Pillow Castle's website or connect with them on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), or YouTube.
