Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a challenge unlocking a free Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction?
The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. Not all objects work; Chrono Vision (activated via the "B" key on PC or the right D-pad button on consoles) highlights destructible objects in red. Only these red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.
Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown
This challenge is completed in Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects are present. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, highlighted in red, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction.
Destroy these buildings multiple times. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but several hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
