Unlock All BlazBlue Entropy Effect Characters: A Guide

By NoraMay 04,2025

Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* is an engaging process that adds depth to your gaming experience. To unlock new characters, you'll need items called Prototype Analyzers, which are not required for DLC characters such as Rachel and Hazama, available for purchase. This guide will walk you through how to acquire Prototype Analyzers and provide a comprehensive list of all playable characters.

How to Unlock Characters in BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Your journey begins with the first Prototype Analyzer, which you receive after completing the tutorial. This initial boost guides you to the Acer Program room, where you exit via the passage on the right and enter a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose your desired character.

For additional characters, you'll need more Prototype Analyzers. Return to the room with the glowing platform and interact with it again to unlock another character. Note that DLC characters, like Rachel and Hazama (available as of March 2025), are automatically unlocked upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.

How to Get More Prototype Analyzers in BlazBlue Entropy Effect

*Entropy Effect* offers multiple ways to earn additional Prototype Analyzers, although they require patience and effort.

Progress the Story

Advancing through the game's story and completing training missions will unlock gray skills. You'll earn a Prototype Analyzer at specific milestones:

  • Unlocking 10 gray skills
  • Unlocking 20 gray skills
  • Unlocking 40 gray skills

You'll also receive one automatically after a significant event later in the story. Note that unlocking green skills via Potential does not grant Prototype Analyzers. As of now, without further updates from developer 91Act, you can only obtain three Prototype Analyzers this way.

Complete Mind Challenges and Spend AP

Another method involves the Mind Challenge mode. Earn points and speak to the janitor to trade your AP for a Prototype Analyzer. Be prepared, though, as each Prototype Analyzer costs 5,000 AP, making this a less frequent option.

All Characters in BlazBlue Entropy Effect

As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features 12 characters, with 10 in the base game and 2 available as paid DLC. Here's a detailed look at each character:

Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Ragna is a melee fighter with a unique twist. He thrives in close-range combat and gains power as his HP decreases. His special ability allows him to sacrifice health for buffs, then regain some from his foes.

Jin Kisaragi

Jin from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Jin is a melee specialist focusing on swordplay and ice skills. He can freeze enemies, and with well-timed combos, he boosts his strength and confuses foes with super speed.

Noel Vermillion

Noel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Noel excels in ranged combat, capable of launching missiles in any direction. Her unique ability reduces skill cooldown timers, and she can continue casting skills even after her MP hits zero with Over-Exhaust.

Taokaka

Taokaka from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Taokaka may struggle against heavily armored foes, but her versatility in build options compensates. Her Spinny Spinny attack hits multiple times and builds status effects, making her adaptable to various playstyles.

Hakumen

Hakumen from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hakumen embodies the tank archetype, slow yet durable. His powerful attacks and ability to counter at a reduced MP cost after blocking make him a formidable opponent. He can also equip a midair attack for versatility.

Lambda-11

Lamda-11 from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Lambda-11 excels in both close and long-range combat. Her skills continue damaging enemies even when she's not directly attacking, making her a versatile and powerful choice.

Kokonoe

Kokonoe from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Kokonoe is often considered one of the weaker characters, requiring precise management of lasers and crowd control effects. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she can be effective.

Hibiki Kohaku

Hibiki from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hibiki is exceptional at evading and controlling groups of enemies. While not the most powerful, his ability to avoid damage makes him a valuable asset.

Es

Es from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Es is incredibly powerful, even without unlocking potentials. She can counter after dodging, perform mid-air combos, and control crowds effectively, making her a versatile and strong character.

Mai Nastume

Mai from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Mai has a high skill ceiling and can be challenging to master. Her combos require practice, but once learned, her mobility and damage output are impressive.

Rachel Alucard

Rachel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Rachel is overpowered in the best way possible. Her speed and ability to reset dodges make her nearly untouchable, and her area-of-effect abilities, including a nearly unavoidable stun, make her a top-tier choice.

Hazama

Hazama from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hazama requires strategic play, with complex inputs for his best moves. While there's a steep learning curve, mastering him makes him one of the game's strongest characters.

That covers all the characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* and how to unlock them. Dive into the game and explore the unique abilities of each character to enhance your gameplay experience.
