How Does The Terminator Event Work in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?
The Terminator event in *Black Ops 6* and *Warzone* operates similarly to the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event from the Holiday Season. Instead of being based on XP or challenges, the event focuses on collecting a new currency called Skulls during matches, which can then be exchanged for rewards in the event tab. These Skulls, inspired by the T-800’s iconic skeletal frame, drop from eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies, or from opening caches in Warzone. To collect them, players simply need to walk over the Skulls. You can track your total collection in the pause menu or directly in The Terminator event tab.
It's important to note that not every elimination or cache opening guarantees a Skull. Their drops appear somewhat random, so stay alert after each action for a floating Skull near the ground and listen for the distinctive audio cues that signal when Skulls are spawned and picked up.
How To Earn Skulls Fast in The Terminator Event in Call of Duty
Given the randomness of Skull drops, the best strategy to progress quickly is to increase your opportunities for Skulls to spawn by maximizing eliminations or cache openings. Here’s how to do it effectively across the different modes in *Call of Duty*:
- *Black Ops 6* Multiplayer: Opt for Kill Confirmed on smaller maps like Nuketown to rack up eliminations swiftly.
- *Black Ops 6* Zombies: Use the Rampage Inducer and farm zombie eliminations, particularly in early rounds (before Round 6) at Liberty Falls or The Tomb. Employing GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power can help upgrade your weapon quickly, speeding up your Skull collection.
- *Warzone*: Focus on opening as many chests as possible in Resurgence, with Solos being the most efficient. However, be aware that finding unopened caches becomes less frequent as the match progresses.
Our tests revealed that round-based Zombies with the Rampage Inducer active on early rounds yields the highest Skulls per minute, followed by early matches of Resurgence in *Warzone*. However, Skull drops can become inconsistent and less frequent after around your 10th Skull in a match.
