Upcoming Update Adds New Building, Jukebox, and More
Schedule 1 maintains its status as one of Steam's top-selling games, thanks to its regular updates that keep the community engaged. On May 1, TVGS's solo developer, Tyler, took to Twitter (X) to unveil a glimpse of the forthcoming update.
Tyler's post included several images showcasing the new additions. Fans can look forward to the "Stash and Dash" building, a Jukebox that might allow players to switch up the game’s soundtrack, and an intriguing empty corridor. While the exact release date for this update remains under wraps, it's set to first hit the beta branch. To participate, players need to adjust their Steam settings to opt into the beta version. Plans for Map Expansion
During his inaugural dev stream on Twitch last week, Tyler connected with fans and shared his vision for Schedule 1's future. He displayed some of his 3D modeling work and discussed plans for expanding the game's map. Tyler envisions adding a "swampy, slummy area" and enhancing the upscale side of town with additional houses on the cliffs. Following these developments, his next focus will be on the island opposite the main area.
While these ambitious expansions sound promising and could significantly enhance the gameplay experience, they are likely to arrive later down the line, given Tyler's status as a solo developer. Nonetheless, the community remains eagerly anticipative of what's to come.
