A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.
Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this is the seventh numbered installment and the 29th overall, including special event comics. The release marks a significant seven-year gap since the last TF2 comic in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the extended wait, likening the comic's creation to the building of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that unlike the Tower's builders, TF2 players only endured a "mere" seven-year wait.

The new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the existing storyline, and indications suggest it may be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, referencing "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," strongly hints at this. Nevertheless, fans can now enjoy a fulfilling narrative closure and a dose of festive cheer.
