WoW Patch 11.1 Auto-Converts Unused Bronze Celebration Tokens
Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, applies to any tokens remaining after the recent 20th-anniversary event concluded on January 7th.
Players will see this automatic conversion upon their first login after Patch 11.1 launches. This ensures players don't lose out on the value of any unspent tokens, as Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used in future events.
The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, spanning 11 weeks, offered players numerous opportunities to earn Bronze Celebration Tokens, used to purchase revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any excess tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.
While a release date for Patch 11.1 isn't yet official, considering the timing of other in-game events (Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways), February 25th is a strong possibility. This means the token conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event ends.
Timewarped Badges are used across all Timewalking campaigns, providing players with various rewards. Importantly, none of these rewards are temporary, allowing players to save their badges for future events.
