Kuro Games has exciting news for Wuthering Waves fans: the highly anticipated Version 2.1 update, titled "Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls," is set to launch on February 13th. This update promises a wealth of new content, including two new five-star Resonators, Phoebe and Brant, who will bring unique combat styles to the game. Alongside these characters, new weapons like the five-star Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor, as well as the four-star Ocean’s Gift, obtainable through a fishing-themed event on the Riccioli Islands, will be introduced.
For explorers, Version 2.1 expands the horizons with the Vault Underground and Riccioli Islands. The Vault, hidden beneath the Sea of Clouds, offers a secure storage zone ripe for discovery, while the Riccioli Islands, with their traditions from Rinascita’s past, provide a contrast to Ragunna’s structured environment. Both areas are filled with new stories and challenges that deepen the lore of Wuthering Waves.
Engage with the rich narratives through new stories such as Brant’s Companion Story, "Sail Day, Captain!," which delves into his past, and the "Silent as a Falling Leaf" Exploration Quest, which uncovers more of Ragunna’s mysteries. Players will also encounter new Echoes, including "Rage Against the Statue" and "Aero Prism," adding fresh dangers to overcome.
The update also features several limited-time events. "Old Man and the Whale" invites players to set sail in search of rare fish, while "Apex Ragunna" ties into the Carnevale festival, unlocking new areas in the Water City. These events are perfect opportunities to gather resources, much like the Wuthering Waves codes that provide numerous freebies.
Combat enthusiasts can look forward to "Tactical Simulacra III" and "Infinite Battle Simulation II," which offer structured challenges, and the "Whimpering Wastes," a new permanent high-difficulty combat zone.
