Gyalva, a unique boss not present in the original Ys III, possesses a diverse arsenal of attacks. While the fight's core mechanics are straightforward, Gyalva can inflict substantial damage quickly. The boss moves across the bridge, often launching sections into the air with fiery attacks.
Prior to this encounter, consider upgrading Adol's equipment and aiming for level 21. Consistent combat against smaller enemies will facilitate this level progression.
Spinning Attacks
Gyalva employs two variations of spinning attacks. The first targets a section of the bridge, launching affected plates into the air. The second involves a full-bridge traversal, similarly flipping the plates. These attacks can severely deplete health if the player is under-leveled.
