Jump King: 2D Platformer Hits Mobile Worldwide with Expansions

Jump King, the challenging 2D platformer that's become a must-play for gamers who enjoy a good rage-quit, has now made its way to mobile devices. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has officially launched worldwide on Android and iOS platforms following a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March. Initially released on PC in 2019 and consoles in 2020, Jump King retains its notorious jumping mechanics on mobile.

What’s Jump King on Mobile Like?

In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored protagonist with a singular objective: to jump. The game's core mechanic is all about precision and unforgiveness. A single misstep can send you plummeting back to the start, as every jump autosaves your progress. Your ultimate goal is to reach the top and meet the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend, but don't expect any shortcuts—she's not handing them out. The controls are tailored for mobile with precision in mind; you hold to charge your jump and release to soar. It's a test of patience, precision, and often, panic-induced poor decisions.

What Else Should You Know?

Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system. You begin with 300 hearts, losing one each time you fall. To replenish your hearts, you can spin a daily fortune wheel for a chance to win between 10 and 150 hearts, or watch ads to gain up to 150 free hearts. Additionally, the mobile version includes two full expansions: New Babe+ offers a second chapter with a bizarre and intense new path, while Ghost of the Babe introduces a haunting third act set beyond Philosopher's Forest in an eerily empty landscape.

If this sounds intriguing, you can download Jump King from the Google Play Store and start your jumping journey today.
