Season 18 brings exciting additions to Rocket League, including the new Futura Garden arena and two new car bodies: the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and the Azura. The Daytona comes with the Season 18 premium Rocket Pass, featuring a Dominus-style hitbox, while the Azura is unlockable at higher tiers of the same pass with a Breakout-style hitbox. Both car bodies can be used in Fortnite once unlocked. A new sound cue now alerts players with a satisfying ping when the ball narrowly misses the goal by hitting the posts or crossbeam.

A variety of mutators are now available to alter game conditions in both Exhibition Mode and private matches. Season 18 introduces new mutators and modifies some existing ones. Players can engage in season-specific challenges and competitive matches, and participate in Season 18 tournaments for unique rewards. Any unspent points from Season 17 will be automatically converted into rewards.

On the technical side, Season 18 adjusts the center of mass for several car bodies and refines the game's internal matchmaking processes within subregions. Numerous performance issues and bugs have been addressed, as detailed in the patch notes from Epic Games. For player safety and community standards, a new voice reporting feature allows players to report toxic behavior after matches, in line with the game's community rules.
