Get ready, bird enthusiasts and strategy game lovers! The highly anticipated Wingspan Asia Expansion is set to soar into your gaming experience later this year. While the exact release date remains under wraps, the excitement is already building with the promise of new feathered friends, a thrilling new game mode, and breathtaking sceneries from across Asia.

Full Details on Wingspan Asia Expansion

The Wingspan Asia Expansion is poised to bring a vibrant array of new elements to the game. You'll encounter stunning birds from India, China, and Japan, each boasting unique abilities and intriguing trivia that enrich your gameplay. This expansion isn't just about the birds; it includes 13 new bonus cards, with two specifically tailored for Automa, enhancing the solo play experience.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Asia with four new, gorgeously designed backgrounds inspired by the region's diverse landscapes. Additionally, eight new player portraits will introduce you to local cultural influences, adding a personal touch to your game.

One of the most exciting additions is the Duet Mode, offering an intense one-on-one Wingspan experience. Compete against an opponent on a special Duet Map, where you'll vie for habitat spaces and strive to meet different end-of-round goals, making every match a strategic battle.

Enhance your gaming atmosphere with audio upgrades, including four new relaxing music tracks by Paweł Górniak. These tracks are designed to set the perfect tone for your bird-watching and strategizing sessions.

Tried the Game Yet?

Wingspan, the video game, is an adaptation of Elizabeth Hargrave's acclaimed card-based board game, which first took flight in digital form on PC in 2020, followed by mobile versions in 2021. In Wingspan, you'll attract the best birds to your wildlife preserve, creating powerful combinations that mimic the natural behaviors of these creatures. Hawks will hunt, pelicans will fish, and geese will form flocks, just as they do in the wild.

With a limited number of turns, you'll strategically build your nature preserve, balancing food, egg-laying, and card draws to create the most thriving ecosystem. While you await the Asia Expansion, don't miss out on the European and Oceania expansions, available now on the Google Play Store.
