This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before embarking on their holiday, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim shared exciting updates on the features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game, shedding light on which of these will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, will be further streamlined, as Kjun emphasized the goal of simplifying the process of zoi creation. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to include their own pets in the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience, but it's worth noting that Kjun, a self-proclaimed animal lover, is personally invested in this feature.
The game will also feature tall buildings, with a maximum of 30 floors. While the game engine could theoretically support higher constructions, this cap has been set to mitigate potential performance issues. In terms of gameplay dynamics, InZOI will include gas stations and combat scenarios. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic felt underwhelming to players, and in response to this feedback, the game will now feature more robust fights, complete with clear winners and losers.
Lastly, to accommodate newcomers unfamiliar with the genre, InZOI will come equipped with a comprehensive tutorial, a move that showcases the developers' thoughtful approach to player experience. As of now, Krafton is steadfast in their plan to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays anticipated.
